An independent voice for Karama

Former City of Darwin councillor Justine Glover has announced she'll stand as an Independent for the seat of Karama in the upcoming NT election.

She says people in her electorate are hurting, and the major parties aren't listening.

Ms Glover says it's time to do politics differently.

She says Independents offer a choice for people who are sick of Labor and don't trust the CLP.

Ms Glover says Independents make a genuine difference by asking uncomfortable questions, holding parties accountable, and not being tied to the party line.

If elected, she plans to address community concerns such as street crime, lack of public housing, and the decay of services such as education, police, housing and healthcare.

Justine Glover will launch her campaign this Sunday.
