My commitment as an Independent is to engage in a new kind of politics grounded in community, integrity and building a better future for all.

I will put people ahead of big businesses and lobbyists. 

I will restore integrity to politics by not engaging in inappropriate behaviour. 

I will genuinely represent my community. 

I will reflect the values and views of my electorate. 

I will have an agreement with my community that guides my actions. 

I will empower my community through collaborating and partnering with them. 

I will have processes for my community to actively participate in politics. 

I will be an outspoken and courageous voice for the Karama electorate.
